BB Vista (WebCT)

BlackBoard Vista (BB Vista) is UBC’s primary Learning Management System. Formerly called WebCT, it allows faculty to supplement their course material with online components.  In collaboration with the Centre for Learning, Teaching and Technology (CTLT), we provide training and support for BB Vista, including:

  • creation of new course sections
  • automatic coordination of student enrollment
  • support for non-standard enrollments (for guest lecturers, library support, etc.)
  • integration of external platforms and resources into the virtual classroom
  • enterprise functionality (targeted for multi-section and multi-instructor courses)
  • integration into the online environment for both online courses and blended (hybrid) courses
  • support for all available tools within the Vista environment, including communications and assessments

This service is available to Faculty and Staff of the Sauder School of Business.
